Knowledge is an essential part of wellness

There is so much that women don’t know about their own bodies—and so much that we can (and should) be doing to support ourselves mentally and physically. That’s where our educational workshops come in. At our monthly meetups, Om Mama members learn about topics like:

How to prevent or rehab pelvic floor dysfunction.
What’s the difference between an OB, a midwife and a doula and which one makes the most sense for you?
How to raise your children to be happy, capable humans.
Having sex after the baby arrives.
How to approach motherhood with courage, not perfectionism.

We also have plenty of fun workshops too, like Photography 101 and How to Blow Dry Your Hair like a Pro!

Our workshops, which are all either steeply discounted or FREE for Om Mama members, are where our wellness, lifestyle and photography pieces fit together.

Members have access to online recordings of many of our past workshops, too, so even if you can’t make it in person, you can still learn with us!

Get to know Om Mama Co.

I’m Meredith, a Seattle-based milestone photographer and the founder of Om Mama.

I founded Om Mama for two simple reasons: 1) to give womxn a space to learn and connect as they navigate the ups and downs of motherhood and 2) to amplify the voices of the experts who care for new and expectant mamas and their kids.

Om Mama isn’t just about surface level self-care. Rather, it’s about seeking holistic wellbeing and support, friendship, education and empowerment, and community care. We fill our cups so that we can better serve our families and neighbors.

Om Mama’s roots lie in the history and tradition of yoga. The syllable OM is the sound of the universe. All that has existed, all that exists, and all that shall exist hereafter, is OM.
