I have been a maternity and family photographer for over 20 years. I got my Masters in photography, and went on to become a photojournalist for 10 years before starting my photography business in 2001. I am considered one of the pioneers of maternity photography, and have been a teacher, author, speaker, and artist over the course of my career.
My photography mission is to empower my clients to feel beautiful in their changing bodies and to see the love they have for themselves and their families. I try to create an experience that will not only produce beautiful photographs for my clients to enjoy for a lifetime, but also to have an experience that is just as memorable.
We begin with the Discovery Session, where you and I get to know each other, talk about photographs you like, and give you a tour of my studio. This is followed by your photo session, where we work together to make those gorgeous images. Finally, there is the Image Reveal and Order Session, where we collaborate to decide on your final prints.
Because I became a mom at the age of 46, I know how important photos are to preserve those special, irreplaceable moments in you and your family’s life.
