Modern Boho Surprise Baby Sprinkle

So I had the idea to throw Tammy a surprise sprinkle after we had chatted about doing some maternity photos for her at my studio. I figured it was perfect because she would get her hair and makeup done and arrive looking and feeling her best (ready for a shoot, and shoot only, haha) little did she know….. with the help of all of her friends (many who are local wedding vendors) we gathered our resources and threw the best shower we could.

It was super intimidating because Tammy is a planner and stylist herself, so I knew she would notice any design flaws. I kept thinking “what would Tammy do?” as I planned the sprinkle. She has always had a mix of bohemian and modern style so I went with it, plus I knew she was going boho with her daughter’s nursery.

I checked out her nursery Pinterest page to get some design inspiration.  I had her team (Simply By Tamara Nicole wedding planners and florists) do the flowers and balloon install. Her sister helped gather some good thrift finds. Carla of Honey Crumb Cake Studio made her a gorgeous cake and brought the macrame to hang the baby bows on. Crystal of Fancy Cat studio sent our invitations to all the guests telling them it was a secret and to also bring a bow for the baby. Her friend Karolina had the most intricate cookies made from Sueded sugar. Yessie Libby did her hair and makeup. Blue Ribbon provided the catering. Florathérapie is responsible for all the beautiful florals. I obviously did the photography (Bluerose Pictures) and planning (along with the help of Nicole from the SBTN team). And allll of these ladies showed up early to help clean and decorate the studio before her arrival. Yessie and I were so nervous leading her to the door afraid our faces would give it away. But the look on her face was priceless and so worth it!
