Meet Shea: Chiropractor

Meet Shea Kramer, owner of Tree of Life Chiropractic. Providing prenatal, postnatal, and pediatric chiropractic care to families in Seattle.

Your Story – a little “About You” – How long have you lived in the Seattle area? Where are you from/why did you move here? What do you do for a living? Have you always done this?

Hello! I have been living in Seattle for about 1.5 years but have been visiting yearly for about ten years! My husband grew up north of Seattle and we have always entertained the idea of coming back to the beautiful PNW. I am a chiropractor (10 years this winter!) and it has been my only career. I knew that I wanted to be a chiropractor when I was 11, so it was a mission from that point forward.

What does living a fulfilled and happy life mean to you?

A happy and fulfilled life to me means having the freedom to spend time with my friends and loved ones when I want. Also having a career that sows into people and having a positive impact.

What is your greatest personal skill/trait?

I would say, being adaptable! Taking a deep breath, accepting that each change or new stage is for a greater good and rolling with the punches.

What is your morning routine?

I am a total routine person! Wake up, coffee, review my goals, do some reading, and workout. If I don’t get my workout in the morning it throws my whole day off!

What helps you feel calm & centered?

Nature! I love being outside and if I can get close to water it’s even better.

When you get a quiet moment, what do you like to do the most?

I enjoy a good walk. Around the neighborhood, or to a new farmers market, or a nature walk.

How do you practice self-care?

Staying disciplined to working out is very important to me. Self-care to me also looks like spending time with close friends! Good for the soul.

What does success mean to you?

I read one of Tony Robbin’s quotes where he said “Success is doing what you want to do, when you want, where you want, with whom you want, as much as you want.” and that really resonated with me. I have it posted on our wall.

What does the world need more of?

To share more laughs together. Deep belly laughs that bring tears to your eyes.

If you could have a super-power, what would it be?

The superpower of flight! That way I could have more freedom to visit people more often who live far away.
